Autumn

"The morns are meeker than they were. The nuts are getting brown. The berry's cheek is plumper. The rose is out of town. The maple wears a gayer scarf. The field a scarlet gown. Lest I should be old fashioned, I'll put a trinket on." Autumn by Emily Dickinson
The days are growing cooler. The snows will soon be here. We have had a wonderful and very busy summer.

Lena and Sammy traveled to Waco to help Anna right after Carson was born.
Ady is wearing a hat--just like baby brother!

Auntie L and Ady enjoyed the hot Texas days. Sammy was a big help, too.
Seth is a happy man to have a son.

Doug and I flew down a few weeks later to see baby Carson and to help out.

Ready to board the plane for the trip back to Illinois.
