Dad said he feels all alone...somehow he knows mom is not there anymore..but where is she, he does not understand. Is she someplace waiting for him? Or will she be picking him up soon? It is a good thing that he no longer has any short term memory...I wish he could understand that she has died and truly has gone on before him to a better place...We will be having her Memorial Service on May 4th at 10:30 in LaGrange at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. We will all be together to say "goodbye". I wish dad could join us but perhaps this summer we will take him to the cottage and have a little service in another place that she loved so much.
