Happy 90th Birthday, Dad

This looks to be about 1960. Dad would have been 36 years old.

Dad enjoyed reading all his cards--and their good friend MaryAnn Wilson remembered dad today on his birthday with a very cute card.

He read every page of the scrapbook I made for him of pictures from his childhood, through the Navy, marriage, children, sailing, his motorcycle days, through the years with mom by his side and his friends at Sutter Living Center. That was quite the run-on sentence but right now I am too tired to edit...maybe tomorrow.
The "men's table"  It is great having so many nice men here now. They are all gentlemen from the same generation as dad. He told us today that this was a nice "club" he was in.

Seth and Anna joined us as did Seth's sister, Haddie. The cake was huge and very good. Thank you SLC for such a lovely party.
Dad wanted to use the camera and proceeded to take this picture of Doug, Seth and Anna. Not too bad for an old guy of 90 who had not worked a camera in quite a few years...

LOVE YOU, DAD...

IT WAS A VERY NICE DAY!
