Just got this in the mail today...Elsye is 90 years old. Mom and Dad got to know her at church in LaGrange...she sat behind them each Sunday and noticed that Dad was beginning to have trouble following the service--finding the right page, etc. She would reach up and help them. After they could no longer drive she would pick them up and take them home from church...
Elsye was not able to attend Mom's memorial service. I wish we would have had the opportunity to meet this lovely lady. I know Mom talked of her often and cherished her friendship in her time of need.
