Dad is so bewildered by his memory failure. He told me he is as a ship without a rudder. When you are sailing the rudder is what steers the boat, without it you just drift aimlessly-trying to go somewhere and yet not able to get there.
Enjoyed reading your blog. Sorry to hear of your parents dementia. Lost my mother to this terrible disease and I have a brother in a memory unit in Wisconsin.
