A SHIP WITHOUT A RUDDER

Dad is so bewildered by his memory failure. He told me he is as a ship without a rudder. When you are sailing the rudder is what steers the boat, without it you just drift aimlessly-trying to go somewhere and yet not able to get there.

  1. That is a great snipe picture -- looks like Dad's in first place; or maybe just tacking! Is that Sarah as crew?

  2. Enjoyed reading your blog. Sorry to hear of your parents dementia. Lost my mother to this terrible disease and I have a brother in a memory unit in Wisconsin.

I hope things go well for your family and you continue to enjoy blogging. Good luck to you from a fellow traveler in west Texas. Enjoyed your comments.
